happy Honda and welcome to yoga for weight loss and you're probably thinking who are these guys to teach you about weight loss and something I can tell you there was a time I weighed a hundred pounds more than I am today I was close to 250 pounds or over 110 kilograms and we're gonna take you through a flow that's available to all levels to all sizes and I want you to trust that wherever you are right now is perfect so first take your hands to your heart center close your eyes and take a moment to acknowledge yourself so I don't know exactly where you are on your journey now but you know and yet we can only build off of success so take a moment to feel proud to feel grateful the fact that you've taken this moment to get on your mat to try something new - perhaps step out of your comfort zone and I want you to know that where you are right now is perfect and then come to stand at the top of your mat inhale reach up high exhale fold forward inhale lengthen your spine and step back to a high plank so here it can be nice to lower to your knees lower down low plank inhale up dog and share a smile smile

the fact that you're here you're alive you're on your mat press back down dog and so if this is too much in down dog you can always drop to your knees into a tabletop but if otherwise here in down dog take a moment and use your mat as a mirror right so that's the beautiful thing that I love about this practice is that you know what I put in my body for food the day before it's very evident to me when I get on my yoga mat so without judging yourself or criticizing yourself you simply have an awareness you know notice how the food you've been putting in your body nourishes you how it supports you how it serves you and if it doesn't have that awareness from your tabletop or your down dog step your feet to the top of your mat inhale lengthen your spine exhale fold forward inhale reach up high take a slight backbend and bring your hands to heart center and take a moment right here be proud of yourself you went through a Sun Salutation a you're moving your body you're moving energy right it's progress is happiness I remember when I went from 250 pounds to 230 pounds I felt amazing because I'd made progress and right now you've made

progress so inhale reach up exhale fold forward inhale lengthen your spine step back high plank again use your knees if that serves you low plank inhale updog big smile enjoy it be happy now and press back down dog and I want to share as well you know sometimes you know we're going looking for the solution externally like what is it is yo we're gonna help me lose the weight is it this is it that is it a diet and I'll tell you right now there's no single yoga pose that's gonna have the weight fall off your body there's no there's no quick solution for anything but my experience what I discovered it was nutrition was key so as we go through this flow I just want to share a few tips with you and just know that the practice of yoga is gonna bring you that awareness so you know what foods nourish your body and what supports you step your feet forward to the top of your mat inhale lengthen your spine exhale fold forward inhale rise up reach high take a slight backbend take your hands to heart center and close your eyes for a moment and I want you to visualize yourself and

visualize yourself a year from now a year from now of putting amazing food into your body a year of getting on your yoga mat a year of creating a mindset and using a language that empowers you what does your life look like how do you feel how do you breathe how do you stand I want you to see that and feel that now okay inhale reach out exhale fold forward inhale lengthen your spine step back high plank use your knees if you need low plank inhale up dog smile biggest smile you've got press back downward facing dog take a deep inhale and sigh ah right you know tabletop is available if you need it but otherwise wherever you are take a moment here and in this place of stillness I want you to just get really honest with yourself how do you feel how do you feel about yourself no sugarcoating it because sometimes we need to get really present to that to get leverage to cause you to take change you know some people make change because you know they disease forces them to I hope that's not the situation you're in I want I'm happy that you recognize right now that you want to make a change now before any of that stuff comes so decide get clear

right now how you feel and what you're committed to step your feet forward to the top of your mat inhale lengthen your spine exhale fold forward inhale rise out reach high take a slight backbend and take your hands to heart center close your eyes again pause for a second now I want you to see yourself five years in the future five years of showing up with this new lifestyle this lifestyle of movement this lifestyle of high vibe nutrition this lifestyle of mindset I want you to see yourself and breathe the way that you would breathe stand the way you would stand notice the way people look when you walk in the room you just have a presence you have a way of being you have an energy because that's who you are and that exudes from you because of how you show up right now on your mat inhale reach up high exhale fold forward inhale lengthen your spine step back high plank drop to your knees if you need low plank you take a Cobra here inhale updog you'll see this is a modified up dog and then press back downward facing dog or tabletop take a deep inhale and sigh high again deep inhale consciously let go anything not

serving you one more deep inhale and I want you to make a decision right now so your destiny is shaped by the decisions you make make a decision right now of something some small area of either of your life that you can shift you know so it's not gonna be that you're gonna next day you're gonna go vegan and quit coffee and quit alcohol and quit cigarettes and quit everything all at the same time but make a decision right now of something some small change that's gonna have a meaningful impact get clear on that in your mind and from here walk your feet forward to the top of your mat inhale lengthen your spine exhale fold forward inhale rise up reach high take a slight backbend and bring your hands to heart center and take a moment right now to love and appreciate and acknowledge yourself right so we don't want to be too attached to only the outcome in the future but actually feel a sense of pride and love and gratitude and have faith that where you are right now is where you're meant to be I am so grateful for those years I spent obese because I learned so much and now I'm able to connect with others who are
