Meal-Prepping Chicken | Health Tips Chit Chat With Me

hey there you guys happy Friday so I am going to be meal prepping some chicken right now I just got back from my jump session number one and I picked up some chicken at Walmart I'm going to show you guys the way I meal prep chicken to be honest it's not something I do regularly my instinct is to cook my meal every single day according to my craving but I'm also trying to create some structure for whenever I have a steady job again so I don't want to completely like derail myself so I'm going to try to keep a structure and they'll prep my chicken just like if it were any other kind of day so yeah let me go show you how I put my chicken in the flavors I'm gonna be creating this do this okay you guys so I'm going to making three different types of chicken up as I said before I laid out all of my things here on my little island so we're going to be making a Jamaican Jerk flavor which is on my favorite then we're also going to be making a citrus teriyaki flavor and then like a spicy Italian parmesan this is all that I'm using for that so right now I'm going to go ahead and kind of have my chicken breath so I'm gonna

cut them in half that way I have more chicken breasts to use so it comes with like one two three four five six come to like seven pieces so divided by 2 that's 14 pieces that are bought for 10 bucks which is oh yeah let's drink [Music] okay you guys so I finished grilling up some of the chicken look how yummy it looks I'm like super proud of myself right now I have the rest kind of grilling up over here [Music] Oh [Music] some of grilling it up in the marinades and then I have my little station of the other chicken that I marinated also so yeah I'm gonna finish cooking this up cuz my husband's on his way home from work we are both super hungry so I am going to finish this up and I'm gonna save up and store like employ Heber whatever else is left over which is a time because I made a bunch of chicken I am super excited to eat this up right now I'm going to go ahead and heat this up this right here y'all

let me turn around this right here y'all is my favorite veggie blend the Mediterranean is so yummy I love it this is all that it comes with potatoes zucchini carrots super yummy so I'm gonna start getting that up over here hey you guys so I finished cooking and this is going to be my lunch since I had a pretty small breakfast so I honestly don't think I'm gonna finish all that chicken but right now my eyes are bigger than my stomach so it looks super yummy can't wait for my husband to come home and try some also paulie's back home dad's back home my mom's back at the register they all just keep smiling and talking about the community basically just eating the Sun right now and watching Riverdale it is no good I am on him so 13 of season clapping it was so good I would but definitely the body we have to be careful the last time I had this kind of conversation you're too involved hey there you guys so I am a super sweaty right now because I just came back from the gym had a really good cardio leg kind of day it was super fun but now I'm starving like super hungry so I am going to use a leftover chicken

that I cooked up yesterday and make some chicken chuckles I went to Walmart and got some tortillas and some onion to make some grilled onion I am just kidding pick up these mission gluten-free yes and it flicks three of these for 120 calories I usually use the Olli tortillas oh you guys know but they were out just ship let's make some [Music] [Music] okay guys so now I'm just gonna take my onions gracefully as I am making a mess over here and just toss them and some coconut oil I really like using coconut oil to grow my onions cuz it gives them a nice sweet coconut flavor not super sweet but I just like it way better than olive oil when it comes to this - yes okay so now you guys are gonna use some pink Himalayan salt and this is the only salt diary's I hardly put salt on my food but when I do it's always came from William salt a little trick I picked up from the naturopathy dr. theis to go to and I've seen it on a bunch of other help you to raise videos it's really different verses other salt even be better than sea salt now I'm just

putting a lime on there okay so big [Music] okay guys the last-minute improv decision we're making those fellows instead so I am going to take some walk so let me show you how I make my post dollars instead this was an old trick that I actually used to use when I started my health journey because I was trying to tell my I used to eat so much food before that instead of having thoughtful as I was kind of training my mind to think I was still eating a large amount of food because if you see a tostada obviously it looks bigger than example and you have more room to to put veggies or to put your your meat on there your protein and and it's almost like tricking your mind into thinking that you're eating more food you know which I mean in some cases you really are because you're getting to put some more veggies on there versus a bottle because it closes up you don't get to but yeah so if you're starting up your health journey or your weight-loss journey whatever you're calling this then I totally suggest you know trying to kind of trick your mind in a sense if you're used to eating a lot of food

leave something like this although your mind still thinks that you're eating a lot more food but in actuality you're still being healthy Norma's a true so still a trick that I ever wanted to share it well actually that I still use because I'm so hungry after the work that I did so tricking the mind you know what I'm saying it looks so gross but I love making these those salads it's so good it reminds me of growing up and my mom making so styles for us after school and this is a really healthy for you so so now I'm just going to take some shredded lettuce there's some shredded lettuce on there the more lettuce for me the butter because it fills me up it is it's almost like the taco salad but go stars now we're just going to add a little bit of lime that annoying moment when you accidentally drop a seed no saved it there we go now we're just going to put our meat in there eat guys heart I'm dropping it all over the place like the boss that I am right now have our meat and our chicken we have our chicken and our sauteed

onions they look like caramelized onions they look really good that's why I like doing that in the coca caramelizes are very pleased for me I like the way it tastes so I'm actually just using like a little bit over four ounces of chicken so there we go now I'm just gonna top it with a little bit of part-skim low moisture mozzarella cheese so Michael Stella's are all done you guys that is what they look like and they look so yummy can't wait to eat these while I watch some Riverdale so let's go do that okay you guys so to be honest I want to stay as real as I can be with y'all and being on a health or weight-loss journey is not always easy it's very hard to maintain the kind of mentality that you need to have in order to see it through and we're not perfect I'm not perfect nobody is we have moments where we kind of slip or we we want that cheeseburger so bad and I think the important thing to remember is yes have your cheeseburger life is short it's just about jumping back on for the next meal for the next day you don't have to really say like oh I'll wait

till Monday to you know jump back on the wagon and do really good I'll start my diet on Monday like no you know if you eat a cheeseburger for let's say lunch and then dinners coming around and you're hungry choose to have a healthier meal for dinner like maybe some tuna or some fish with some veggies or you know just choose a healthier option a healthier meal for dinner you don't have to say oh now that I ate this I'm gonna order some pizza and then tomorrow comes along and you don't feel really excited about you know doing the thing you don't feel really excited about carrying on with your healthy decisions so that's a huge piece of advice at least that I can give don't beat yourself up and then feeling like you basically have to self-sabotage yourself because of that and almost punish yourself for that it's so great to pursue health or to pursue you know getting healthier losing some weight getting more fit those things are great things to do they're great for your health but don't lose sight of the fact that you have to be okay within yourself too you know you have to be okay mental spiritually the whole shebang you know

so so if I can give any advice you know take it slow be kind to yourself I cannot stress that enough do not punish yourself be kind to yourself throughout your journey if you're thinking of starting a health journey and take it easy we're in this together comment down below if sometimes you feel like that you know because I have those feelings sometimes too and I'll catch myself where I'm like dang I don't know if I should eat this it's not good for me what's it gonna do to me look at all the progress I've made and then I'm like dude you ate healthy the whole week you are really craving an ice cream go for it you know if you're really craving this thing go for it you know I hadn't had like Hot Cheetos and years and I ended up like buying some Hot Cheetos Fritos last week as my cheat snack or whatever you want to call it like a little snack that I got from from stripes because I live here in the valley and everything is like Hot Cheetos Hot Cheetos his life and I hadn't had that in like two years but that's what I was craving [Music] [Music]
