Today I will prepare Dahi Potol/Parwal recipe Ingredients for Dahi Parwal Yogurt 1/2 cup Onion paste 1/2 cup Ginger-Garlic paste 1 teaspoon Cinnamon 1-2, Cloves 4-5, Green cardamom 3-4, Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Salt to taste sugar to taste Oil 1/2 cup Parwal 250 grams (Pointed Gourd) Wash the Potol/Parwal in a fresh water Chop off the Parwal pointed end at both side Scrap all the Parwal vertically/ lengthwise leaving streaks of skin on alternate strokes Now cut the Parwal through the middle, but don't separate it 3-4 times cut like this I need the Parwal whole in the curry & when I will fry this I cut through this process because spices will come inside the Parwal Mix salt and turmeric I have taken 250 grams prawal Heat oil in a non stick pan or kadai Add the parwal one by one in the oil for fry. Fry the Parwal till little brown color Transfer cooked Potol/Parwal in serving bowl now add Cloves, Cinnamon, Green cardamom stir it gently for good smell add onion paste stir it for few minutes Fry until onion get a brownish color, otherwise raw smell will come. add Ginger-garlic paste

and saute till the raw smell disappears now add Red chilli powder, mix it well add little sugar to taste and color for the grave add salt to taste, remember before we used salt in parwal. add yogurt and slightly saute this mixture simmer it for 1 minutes. gravy is ready now add all the Potol/Parwal one by one and mix it well with gravy let it simmer for 5 minutes Dahi Parwal is ready
