just a summer the songbird hey guys welcome back to my Channel today I'm going to be showing you my first ever cooking video I'm so excited to share this with you guys I worked really hard on it today I'm going to be showing you three of my favorite snacks for summertime they are so refreshing and so yeah mate trust me you guys will see you're going to get so hungry watching this video I'm obsessed with all of the snacks in this video they're so yummy and the best part about them is that they're healthy so without further ado let's get into the video our fresh treat is going to be some frozen yogurt bites and some frozen yogurt covered blueberries so what I'm going to be needing is a spoon some Ziploc bags different flavored yogurts my blueberries and something to put them on when we put them in the freezer so I'm starting off by taking my lemon frozen yogurt and stirring it around so everything is the same consistency and then I'm just going to be dropping some blueberries into the yogurt and mixing it up so this way they're one hundred percent covered and then I will just be placing them on to my pan

as you guys can hear i'm just going to be repeating that process for all of the blueberries and then putting them onto the tin pan next to each other so for the yogurt bites I decided to switch it up a little i'm going to be taking some key lime yogurt and i'm going to be mixing it up again so that it's the same consistency and then i'm going to be putting it into a ziplock baggie and i'm just going to try to put it all towards one corner and cut off the end of the bag and i'm just going to be putting those on the tin pin as well just by swirling it on there and putting a little bit of pressure on the ziploc bag so it comes out that tiny hole that we made before with the scissors so once you're done covering all of your blueberries and making your little yogurt droplets on to your pan you're going to want to put them into the freezer so that they Harden and you can pick them up and eat them as a snack whether you're watching TV or you're just really hungry so you're going to want to put them into the freezer for about an hour to two hour nap we're going to be making some amazing fruit kebabs so I am starting off with the

banana and I'm just going to be chopping it up into different cubes this way we can stick them onto the skewers pretty easily I'm going to be using two bananas for this and it depends on how many kebabs you want to make for sure I'm also going to be taking some pineapples some strawberries and blueberries and I'm just going to be sticking them on to the skewers what I did was used two skewers because one I found was really flimsy so I just put all of my fruit through both skewers and I topped it off with some blueberries I 1738 I got a Glock in my rari never two shots address extreme tied to my hair nice so once you're done making as many fruit kabobs as you'd like you're going to want to take your chocolate and drizzle it all over your fruit kabobs and this is going to help us our next step as well once you are done with all of your chocolate you're gonna want to take some crushed nuts i was using cashews and i just put those all over the kabobs and the chocolate is what's going to help those cashew nuts stay on your kebabs without falling off once you are done with that you've got yourself some Instagram worthy fruit kebabs even

make sense for me too so to start off with our passion tea lemonade popsicles I'm going to be taking two cups of water and just pouring that into a saucepan and bringing that to a boil I'm going to be taking the tazo passion tea and i'm going to be taking 3 tea bags and i'm going to be putting those into the pot displayed that the tea is steeping while it's boiling and the flavor really gets into the water so you're just going to drop all of your tea bags into the boiling water and just wait for it to steep I waited about five to ten minutes to make sure all the flavor really got into the water so to sweeten up the tea i took some domino sugar cubes and just drop that into the water so they could melt but you can use whatever sweetener you'd like and then I'm pouring half of that tea into a measuring cup and then I'm for everyone part of the tea I'm putting one part of the lemonade as well so this way we have an even balance of tea and lemonade what you're going to want to do next is pour that mixture into some popsicle molds what I did is added a little lemon into the popsicle molds as well this also adds a lot of tartness so you're going

to want to be careful if you don't really like sour things that much next you're going to place it into the freezer overnight and there you have it those are all of the treats that we made in this video they are so good and the best part about them is that they are healthy they're much better for you than chips and junk food and candy so I hope you guys enjoyed these summer treats and let me know what you guys would want to see in my next video I hope you guys enjoyed this video I worked really hard on it and if you guys did like this video go ahead and give it a big old thumbs up and make sure you subscribe for videos every Friday let me know in the comment down below what your favorite summer snack is and what video you want me to film next I'm thinking of doing some back-to-school videos so let me know which ones you would want to see and use the hashtag summer with Mona if you guys actually try to these at home hope you guys enjoyed this video I will see you next Friday and make sure you seal the end of this video to get all of my information for Twitter and Instagram because then we can chat all day long about how awesome our summers are can't
